Cathi and I want to thank you again for the incredibly thorough job you
did of inspecting the house we are in the process of purchasing.
Initially I had no intention of having the home inspected because it
had been so meticulously maintained by the current owners and I
couldn’t imagine there being the slightest problem anywhere, but at my
realtor's insistence I decided to spend the money for an inspection.
I chose your company based solely on it’s name ~ INTEGRITY. Dave, you certainly lived up to your name and saved us a substantial amount of money in future repair costs that would have blindsided us, had you not brought several issues to our attention as a result of your findings at the inspection. The detail of your report was amazing, you truly went over a huge house with a fine tooth comb. The water leak in the porch roof and the resulting hidden damage to the wood underneath (that you spotted by noting the water stains on the columns) saved us $4,500.00 in repairs and the seller willingly paid to have everything taken care of. In addition, they agreed to correct approximately $1,500.00 worth of electrical issues that you brought to light.
Your report also pointed out many minor issues and upkeep suggestions that Cathi and I will address ourselves in the coming year. We also have a much better understanding of our future home and things that we will need to keep an eye on in the coming years.
